Arbitration & Mediation Barristers in our Chambers act as arbitrators and mediators in commercial and construction disputes and international arbitration. Our barristers also practice as advocates and mediators in family and estate disputes.
We are able to accept appointments as arbitrators or mediators directly from clients. We also serve as counsel to represent clients in arbitration or mediation. For further details, please refer to the Annexes 14 and 20 of the Code of Conduct of the Hong Kong Bar Association.
With the expanded demands in the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), our barristers are also active in providing services as adjudicators and dispute resolution advisors (DRA) for our clients.
Adjudication Adjudication is a straightforward and effective process for resolving disputes, particularly at interim stage, by an independent neutral third party. Adjudication has by now been commonly adopted in construction contract disputes and disputes in other commercial sectors.
